Award is normally presented at the AGM each year.

“THE GOLDEN YAGI” AWARD.

(1979 – 2006) Phil VBR547 has made the entire Yagi, complete with Tower and wooden base. The attached plaque with the recipients callsign etc comes from Ted’s Trophies.

Treasurer 1979–1982      Secretary 1981-1992
Les passed away on, 5^th June 1992.
First Award 1993.
Les was one of our wonderful foundation and life members, who did wonders for the club.
A great ambassador, always ready to help Members in any way he could,
including paying fees for Members who didn’t have enough money at the time. (BBL)

“CHARLIE VBN929 AWARD”

(1983 – 2009/10?) – This award is no longer on offer. The recipient’s Name & Callsign was engraved on a wooden plaque which was kept for one year, and then it’s returned to the Club. The recipient also received an engraved pewter cup which they keep.
